Our Santa Fe River Inc

Our Santa Fe River, Inc. is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to education about, stewardship of and advocacy for the Santa Fe River, a tributary of the Suwannee River in north central Florida that is home to a large concentration of freshwater springs. Founded in 2007 when the community mobilized against Nestle's water extraction for a bottling plant, it is based in Fort White, Florida and works on water quality and quantity in the region's aquifer, springs and watershed through school education, invasive species removal, river cleanups and projects such as the Springs Stories Project.
