Our Climate Common

Our Climate Common works to bridge cultural, political and economic divides and build broad societal participation in solving the climate challenge, engaging communities that are often left out of climate conversations, particularly rural and working sectors. Based in Georgetown, Maine, it runs research and projects with the timber industry, commercial forest landowners and fisheries communities, including work on managing Maine's commercial forests for carbon and bird conservation and a study on electrifying Maine's lobster fleet. It also produces the Climate Common Series of reports and interviews to widen the climate conversation in Maine.
