Orleans Conservation Trust

Orleans Conservation Trust is a member-supported land trust founded in 1970 by residents concerned about development in Orleans, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod. It protects and restores natural lands for people and wildlife, the health of local waters, and the character of the community, holding more than 700 acres of woodlands, wetlands, and shoreline acquired through land gifts, conservation restrictions, and purchases. It also maintains trails, manages habitat and invasive species, and runs guided walks and education programs.
