Opacum Land Trust is a 13-town regional land conservation organization formed in 2000 to protect natural and cultural resources in South Central Massachusetts, including farmland, forests, river corridors, wetlands, vernal pools, endangered species habitat, scenic areas, and historic sites. It has protected 4,082 acres across 31 properties in towns such as Brimfield, Holland, Monson, Southbridge, and Sturbridge, and opens many of them to the public with hiking trails.
