One Fish Foundation

One Fish Foundation is a small Maine nonprofit that brings the sustainable seafood conversation into classrooms and communities, teaching people where their seafood comes from and why that matters. Its programs run from elementary school through graduate level, covering gear types, abundance, aquaculture, supply chains, and changes in the Gulf of Maine. It also hosts KNOW FISH dinners and community events, and works with groups such as Slow Food USA and the Local Catch Network to support community-based fisheries.
