On The Salt Co

On the Salt is a women-led 501(c)(3) that works to raise awareness of shellfish as natural bio-purifiers of coastal waters, noting that a single adult oyster can filter up to 50 gallons a day. It uses art and design, including coastal-themed apparel, accessories and limited-edition artist collaborations, to build a community around clean coastal waters and shellfish. Funds beyond operating costs are donated to clean water and shellfish organizations.
