Olympia Coalition For Ecosystems Preservation

Olympia Ecosystems, founded in 2014, works to protect, preserve and restore the diverse ecosystems in and around Olympia, Washington, including freshwater, shoreline and forest habitat for Pacific Great Blue Herons, salmon and other species. It owns and stewards four preserves: West Bay Woods on the Deschutes Estuary shoreline, Green Cove Creek, Cooper Crest Forest and the Deschutes River Preserve, covering more than 650 acres across the Deschutes River and Green Cove Creek watersheds. Volunteers and partner groups remove invasive plants and replant native Pacific Northwest species across those sites.
