Old Saybrook Land Trust

The Old Saybrook Land Trust is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) that preserves open space and protects natural resources in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, for public benefit. Its preserves span the town's tidal wetlands, river systems along the Connecticut River estuary and Long Island Sound, and forested uplands, and it continues to acquire parcels threatened by development. The trust runs monthly stewardship workdays, maintains and extends trails, and offers hikes, lectures, and an outdoor nature club for elementary school children.
