Old Growth Forest Network

The Old-Growth Forest Network works to create a national network of old-growth and mature native forests that are protected from logging and open to the public. Its goal is at least one protected forest in every U.S. county able to sustain one, roughly 2,370 of 3,140 counties, and it currently lists 350 Network Forests across 41 states. The organization is headquartered in Easton, Maryland, and also educates the public about where these forests are and builds local alliances to defend them.
