The Ohio River Trail Council is a volunteer-led Pennsylvania nonprofit developing the Ohio River Trail, a combined land greenway and water trail along the Ohio River and its tributaries. It brings together communities, businesses, recreational users and government to reclaim, restore, protect and preserve a continuous corridor of natural and cultural resources, with stated goals of environmental stewardship, brownfield remediation, heritage development and safe transportation networks. Its current purview runs from the Beaver River to New Castle, down Connoquenessing Creek to Zelienople, and along the Ohio River from Coraopolis to Little Beaver Creek in Ohioville.
