Ohio River Foundation

Ohio River Foundation is a Cincinnati-based nonprofit, founded in 2000, dedicated to protecting and improving the water quality and ecology of the Ohio River and all waters in its 14-state watershed. It runs school education programs such as River Explorer and Mussels in the Classroom, restores habitat by removing invasive species and installing native vegetation, and advocates on water quality standards and environmental policy. Its documented project work spans Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Pennsylvania, including Greater Cincinnati and Greater Columbus.
