Ohio Invasive Plants Council

The Ohio Invasive Plants Council is a coalition of agencies, organizations, and individuals across Ohio concerned with the introduction, spread, and control of invasive, non-native plants in the state's natural habitats. It promotes public awareness and encourages land management and research to detect invasive species and prevent new invasions into natural ecosystems. The council runs an invasive plant assessment program, publishes lists of invasive and Ohio-banned plants, and hosts workshops, annual meetings, and research conferences statewide.
