Ogeechee Riverkeeper

Ogeechee Riverkeeper works to protect, preserve, and improve the water quality of the Ogeechee River basin, a watershed covering more than 5,500 square miles in Georgia. It combines advocacy, water quality monitoring, pollution reporting, and participation in permitting and regulatory processes with community education and volunteer events. Its territory spans the Upper Ogeechee, Lower Ogeechee, Ogeechee Coastal, and Canoochee sub-watersheds, which drain into Ossabaw and St. Catherine's Sounds.
