The Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance is a multi-sector collaboration connecting the finance and insurance sectors, governments, multilateral organisations, civil society and academia. It pioneers finance and insurance products that drive investment into coastal and ocean natural capital, spanning blue infrastructure, ocean conservation, aquaculture and wild-catch fisheries, ocean technology, ocean-based renewable energy and ridge-to-reef solutions. Its stated goal is to activate at least $500 million of investment by 2030 to build the resilience of 250 million climate vulnerable coastal people in the Global South.
