Ocean Reef Conservation Association is a Key Largo grantmaking nonprofit dedicated to protecting and preserving the environment, fish, wildlife, and marine areas, including water quality and habitat. Since 2009 it has distributed more than $4 million to conservation partners funding work such as coral restoration, mooring ball installation, wading bird nesting monitoring, and beach cleanups in the Florida Keys and Biscayne National Park. It also awards scholarships to Keys high school graduates pursuing marine and environmental science degrees.
