Oars Inc

OARS is a science-based nonprofit in Concord, Massachusetts working to protect, improve, and preserve the Sudbury, Assabet, and Concord rivers and their watershed for people and wildlife. Founded in 1986 as the Organization for the Assabet River, it now covers the 399 square mile SuAsCo watershed spanning 33 towns and three cities. Its work includes long-running volunteer water quality monitoring, ecological restoration and dam removal projects, stormwater pollution reduction, invasive water chestnut management, river cleanups, and a periodic Rivers Report Card.
