NYC H2O

NYC H2O works to inspire and educate New Yorkers of all ages to learn about, enjoy, and protect their city's water ecology. It runs guided tours, school field trips, talks, and volunteer service events across New York City's reservoirs, watersheds, bays, rivers, and wetlands, with sustained programming at the Ridgewood Reservoir. Its stated results include reaching over 66,000 students and removing more than 100,000 pounds of trash from shoreline parks and wetlands.
