Northwest Watershed Institute

Northwest Watershed Institute is a Port Townsend, Washington nonprofit founded in 2001 that provides scientific and technical support to protect and restore fish and wildlife habitat and watershed ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest. It runs science-based assessment, protection, and restoration projects with willing landowners and partner organizations, and offers habitat consulting alongside education and volunteer programs. Its main effort is the Tarboo Watershed Program, a 46-partner collaboration restoring wild salmon and wildlife habitat in Tarboo Creek and Tarboo-Dabob Bay.
