Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy Inc

Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy is a land trust founded in 1965 that permanently protects natural areas and working landscapes under the banner "Protecting Land and Water for People, for Wildlife, Forever." It has conserved 14,400 acres across Litchfield County and northern Fairfield County, including 31 public hiking preserves, 56 working farms, and 60 miles of rivers and streams. Its work also covers climate-smart agriculture, drinking water resources, and community stewardship.
