Northshore Riverwatch

Northshore Riverwatch is a grassroots, advocacy-based 501(c)(3) that protects the rivers, floodplains, and watersheds of Louisiana's Florida Parishes through science, education, advocacy, conservation, and public participation. It reviews permits and technical documents, responds to pollution incidents, defends scenic river designations, and challenges development in flood hazard areas. It also conserves riparian land, including the Villere-Lopiccolo Preserve, and runs community presentations and river events.
