Northeastern Wisconsin Bird Alliance

Northeastern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, formerly the Northeastern Wisconsin Audubon Society, is a volunteer-run chapter of the National Audubon Society working to protect birds and the places they need through science, advocacy, education and on-the-ground conservation. Active since 1963 and based in Green Bay, it runs bird monitoring programs, promotes native plants for habitat restoration, and works on designating and protecting Important Bird Areas. Its projects include Project SOAR, which relocates snowy owls away from airports, and support for Red-shouldered Hawk research.
