North Salem Open Land Foundation

North Salem Open Land Foundation has worked since 1974 to preserve the character and natural beauty of North Salem, New York and the surrounding area, keeping land free from exploitation and development and maintaining its environmental and ecological integrity. It protects open space by working with public agencies, communities and private landowners, and manages nature preserves that are open to the public for recreation. The foundation also runs educational programs and volunteer conservation efforts, including a local pollinator pathway.
