North Fork Audubon Society

North Fork Audubon Society is a chapter of the National Audubon Society founded in 1971, working to support birds and preserve local wildlife and habitat on Long Island's North Fork. The nearly all-volunteer group runs bird walks and education programs for adults, families, and children. It serves as steward of the Roy Latham Nature Center and Inlet Pond County Park in Greenport, New York, in partnership with Suffolk County Parks, maintaining the trails, gardens, and buildings there.
