North East Trees Inc

North East Trees is a Los Angeles nonprofit that addresses environmental stressors through urban forestry, nature-based green infrastructure, habitat restoration, wildfire resilience, land conservation, and workforce development. Its crews plant and care for thousands of trees a year, convert vacant lots and asphalt into parks and green schoolyards, and steward hundreds of acres of open space by removing invasive species and reducing wildfire risk. It works across Los Angeles County, concentrating in Northeast, East, and South Los Angeles and Watts, and has built 25 parks along the LA River.
