North Carolina Wildlife Federation

Founded in 1945, the North Carolina Wildlife Federation works for wildlife and habitat statewide, from the Great Smoky Mountains to the Outer Banks, with offices in Charlotte and Raleigh. It brings together conservationists, wildlife enthusiasts, hunters and anglers, government and industry around what it calls common sense conservation supported by science. Programs span red wolf and pollinator conservation, marine fisheries, wetland and wildlife connectivity work, certified wildlife habitats, and youth education through Great Outdoors University.
