North Carolina Botanical Garden Foundation

The North Carolina Botanical Garden Foundation is the support organization for the North Carolina Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill, established the same year as the Garden. It raises funds for the Garden's education and conservation programs through membership, board giving, and fundraising events. It also operates as a land trust, owning and holding conservation easements on more than 300 acres next to land already protected by the Garden and UNC Chapel Hill, with recent projects including the Stillhouse Bottom Nature Preserve expansion and the Cochrane property acquisition.
