North Carolina Biodiversity Project

The NC Biodiversity Project is a North Carolina 501(c)(3) whose mission is to promote public interest in the state's native species and ecosystems and to support biodiversity conservation statewide. It builds and maintains a collection of websites that make information on North Carolina's species publicly accessible, and it conducts biodiversity surveys that inform conservation work around the state. It also runs public outreach and education programs, working with partners including the North Carolina Natural Heritage Program and Southern Conservation Partners.
