North American Land Trust

North American Land Trust was founded in 1992 in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania to preserve and manage open space with ecological, agricultural, or historical significance. It protects land through conservation easements and direct acquisition, then stewards those properties with habitat restoration and annual monitoring of its 570-plus easements. It works across 24 states with regional focus areas including Chester County in Pennsylvania, the Tennessee-Alabama-Georgia mountains, Maryland's Eastern Shore, western North Carolina, and coastal South Carolina, and owns two public preserves in Chadds Ford.
