Norfolk Land Trust protects natural resources in and around Norfolk, Connecticut through land conservation and education, provides opportunities for public recreation, and builds support for preserving open space. Founded in 1982 as an all-volunteer 501(c)(3), it has conserved more than 4,700 acres of waterways, wetlands, meadows, and woodlands through conservation easements and owned preserves. It maintains over 20 miles of public trails and runs community programs.
