Nisqually River Foundation

The Nisqually River Foundation is an Olympia, Washington nonprofit that provides the staffing and funding behind the Nisqually River Council and works to implement the Nisqually Watershed Stewardship Plan. Its stated mission is fostering a healthy watershed by building partnerships, engaging volunteers, and providing educational opportunities. Its programs include the Nisqually River Education Project, the Nisqually Stream Stewards volunteer program, the Nisqually River Water Trail, and the annual Nisqually Watershed Festival, across a watershed running 78 miles from Mount Rainier to the Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.
