Founded in 1989, the Nisqually Land Trust protects and stewards lands to permanently benefit the water, fish, wildlife, and people of the Nisqually River Watershed in Washington. It conserves land through direct ownership and conservation easements, and runs restoration work that includes riparian forest restoration and marine conservation in the Nisqually Reach. Volunteer work parties, guided outings, and public programs connect residents to the lands it protects.
