Nippersink Watershed Association

The Nippersink Watershed Association is a volunteer nonprofit made up of residents of the Nippersink Creek watershed in McHenry County, Illinois, based in Wonder Lake. It pursues watershed planning, outreach, and implementation actions to protect, preserve, and enhance the natural resources of the Nippersink Creek watershed. Its restoration work includes streambank stabilization and invasive species removal, funded entirely by grants and donations.
