Niantic Watershed Committee Inc

The Niantic River Watershed Committee works with residents and town leaders to monitor and improve the health of the Niantic River watershed in southeastern Connecticut, drawing representatives from East Lyme, Montville, Salem and Waterford. Its work includes stream water quality sampling, aquatic insect bioassessment, and installing stormwater management projects such as rain gardens and riparian buffers. It also runs K-12 education, homeowner lawn care outreach, and workshops for municipal land use commissions.
