Nia Tero Foundation

Nia Tero is a Seattle-headquartered international nonprofit that directly supports Indigenous Peoples' guardianship of their ancestral lands and waters. It funds Indigenous organizations and networks with flexible grants, has distributed more than $125 million since 2017, and pairs that funding with technical assistance and a capacity-sharing model linking funders, Indigenous Peoples, and its own team. Its partnerships span South America and Amazonia, the Pacific Islands, Asia, Africa, and North America.
