New River Conservancy

New River Conservancy protects the New River watershed across North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia, using land preservation strategies and science-based restoration programs. Its work covers land acquisition and conservation easements, river cleanups and riverbank restoration, and community engagement through volunteer events, education and the New River Water Trail. It is based in West Jefferson, North Carolina.
