New Mexico Land Conservancy

The New Mexico Land Conservancy is an accredited land trust whose stated purpose is to preserve New Mexico's land heritage by helping people conserve the places they love. It works primarily through conservation easements with private landowners, protecting watersheds, rivers and streams, wildlife habitat and migration corridors, and working ranch and farm land. Its projects span five regions of New Mexico plus eastern Arizona, with more than 860,000 acres protected and a goal of one million acres by 2030.
