New Earth Regeneration Initiative

New Earth Regeneration Initiative (NERI) converts organic waste into nutrient-rich soil amendments through biological processing, targeting soil degradation, water scarcity, and greenhouse gas emissions. It pairs that work with hands-on environmental education in schools and communities, paid workforce training in green careers such as horticulture and land restoration, and applied research on soil performance. NERI works in California, with projects including an LAUSD elementary school in North Hollywood and a community food pantry in West Covina.
