Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy Inc

The Neutaconkanut Hill Conservancy preserves Neutaconkanut Hill, an 88-acre wooded park on Plainfield Street in Providence, Rhode Island, and the highest point in the city. Founded in the 1970s by neighbors in Providence and Johnston, it works in cooperation with the Providence Parks Department to steward the hill's oak and hickory forest, wildflower fields, ravines, glacial boulders, springs, and brooks. Its conservation focus is the upper slopes, kept in natural condition, while the base of the hill holds active recreation facilities.
