Natural Land Institute

Natural Land Institute is a Rockford, Illinois land conservation nonprofit working to create an enduring legacy of natural land in northern Illinois for people, plants, and animals. It owns and manages 14 nature preserves of prairie, wetland, and forest, and helps private landowners protect their property through conservation easements. It also runs education and stewardship programs, including Conservation@Home, alongside volunteer workdays and community events.
