Natural Areas Conservancy Inc

The Natural Areas Conservancy works to deepen the connection between people and nature in New York City by increasing access, providing education, and building the parks workforce. It cares for the city's roughly 20,000 acres of forests and wetlands through stewardship, applied research on urban natural areas, trail improvement and volunteer events, and advocacy with elected officials. It also runs Forests in Cities, a network spanning 26 cities that advances urban forest science and practice.
