Native Roots Farm Foundation

Native Roots Farm Foundation is a Nanticoke woman-led nonprofit in Delaware working to reclaim, cultivate, and celebrate Native relationships with land, plants, and community across the Delmarva region historically stewarded by Nanticoke and Lenape peoples. It operates a public garden called Hakihakan and runs education programs grounded in Indigenous ecological knowledge and native plants. The organization says it has engaged more than 400,000 people since 2020.
