Native Orchid Preservation And Education Society

The Native Orchid Preservation and Education Society works to increase awareness of native orchids and to support activities that conserve the habitats those orchids need to flourish. It runs field trips to observe native orchids in their natural settings, including sites in Ohio and Kentucky, while protecting the plants and their ecosystems. The society also provides displays and presentations, publishes a newsletter, and maintains a membership and board of directors.
