National Watershed Coalition

The National Watershed Coalition is a 501(c)(3) coalition of national, regional, state, and local organizations, including conservation districts, water improvement districts, natural resource districts, tribal entities, and state agencies, that advocates treating the watershed as the unit for planning and implementing natural resource work. Formed in 1989 as successor to the older Watershed Congress, it supports USDA and NRCS watershed programs, gives congressional testimony, and provides technical assistance and annual workshops.
