The National Forest Foundation is a Missoula, Montana 501(c)(3) that works to transform America's love of nature into action for the National Forests, so that these public lands continue to provide clean air, clean water, and connection to nature for future generations. Its work is organised around wildfire resilience, land and watershed restoration including reforestation and habitat recovery, and recreation enhancement through trail maintenance. It reports 2025 results of 7 million trees planted and over 35,000 acres treated for wildfire resilience.
