Narragansett Baykeeper

Save The Bay's Narragansett Baykeeper serves as the eyes and ears of Narragansett Bay, observing, documenting and reporting environmentally harmful activity and acting as a deterrent to irresponsible action. Created in 1993 to strengthen the organization's direct action, legal and regulatory watchdog and pollution response capacity, the Baykeeper reviews development proposals and works to ensure the rules protecting the Bay are enforced. It operates alongside Save The Bay's Riverkeeper and South Coastkeeper across Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay and its watershed as part of the Waterkeeper Alliance.
