Nabnasset Lake Preservation Association

The Nabnasset Lake Preservation Association is a volunteer group in Westford, Massachusetts, formed in 1990 to advocate for lake abutters after the Byrne Ave dam failure and to preserve the lake's water quality for future generations. It works with conservation commissions and a private contractor on seasonal treatments to manage algae and invasive aquatic weeds. Having moved off grant and town funding, it now relies on member dues to pay for that work.
