Murphey Candler Park Conservancy Inc

An all-volunteer conservancy formed in 2012 by neighbours working with local government to preserve and improve the 135-acre Murphey Candler Park in Brookhaven, Georgia. It runs volunteer work events including trail rehabilitation, invasive species removal, and trash cleanups, and supports Eagle Scout and Girl Scout stewardship projects. Fundraising events such as the Duck Duck Goose 5K pay for park capital improvements in partnership with the City of Brookhaven.
