Muir Foundation

The Muir Foundation works to protect and improve natural spaces across Emmet County and Northern Michigan through hands-on environmental stewardship. Its projects include removing trash and hazardous waste from forests, rivers and dumping sites, and restoring natural areas and wildlife habitat. It organizes community cleanup initiatives and partners with local conservation and watershed organizations.
