Mountain Area Land Trust

Mountain Area Land Trust has worked since 1992 to save natural areas, wildlife habitat, streams and rivers, working ranches and historic lands across a 4,830-square-mile region of Colorado's Front Range spanning Boulder, Clear Creek, Gilpin, Jefferson, Park and Teller counties. It has permanently protected more than 28,650 acres through conservation easements and properties it owns outright, several of which it manages for public recreation and education. The trust is accredited by the Land Trust Alliance.
