Mount Diablo Bird Alliance

Mount Diablo Bird Alliance, formerly the Mt. Diablo Audubon Society, is committed to protecting birds, preserving their habitat, and connecting people of all ages to the world of birds. Based in Walnut Creek, it serves central and eastern Contra Costa County, where roughly 350 bird species have been documented and about 150 nest locally. Its work includes birding classes, free field trips, community science projects such as bird counts and banding stations, and conservation advocacy for wildlands and wetlands.
